Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 November 2026
In short
- No account and no sign-in. The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob.
- We don't collect or sell personal information ourselves.
- Your favourites, plans and settings are saved on your own device.
- Google may use your advertising ID to show ads; you can limit this at any time.
This policy explains how the My Kitchen: Recipes & More app (“the app”) handles information. The app is published by One Aim Solutions (“we”, “us”). If you have any questions, email info@oneaimsolutions.com.
Information saved on your device
To work, the app saves these on your phone or tablet only:
- Your recipe language (English or Urdu) and country
- Recipes you bookmark and recipes you opened recently
- Your weekly cooking plan, kids plan and any changes you make to them
- Your daily reminder setting and time
- Recipe requests you write in the app
We cannot see or access this information.
Device backups
- iPhone and iPad: a copy of your settings is kept in your device’s secure Keychain, so they come back if you reinstall the app. This copy stays on your device.
- Android: the app allows Android’s built-in backup. If backup is turned on in your phone’s settings, Google may save your app settings to your Google account and restore them when you reinstall. Google handles this under its own privacy policy; we never receive this data.
Country detection
The app reads your device’s time zone and region setting to show Pakistani or Indian dishes first. This happens on your device and is never sent anywhere. You can change it in the app’s Settings.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules daily cooking reminders on your device. They are not sent from our servers, and we receive no notification data. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your phone’s settings.
Content loaded from the internet
The app loads recipe photos from TheMealDB and pakistani.recipes, and text fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, those services receive the standard technical information every internet connection shares, such as your IP address and device type. We don’t control these services; their own privacy policies apply. The “Open full recipe” button opens pakistani.recipes in your browser.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner, in-list, full-screen and optional reward video ads from Google AdMob. To show, measure and improve ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device’s advertising identifier (the Android advertising ID, or on iPhone the IDFA only if you allow tracking), your IP address and approximate location based on it, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic data.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings, under Privacy & ad choices.
- On iPhone, ads are personalised only if you allow tracking when asked. If you don’t, you see non-personalised ads.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s Google settings.
- The reward video is optional: you choose to watch it for 24 hours without ads.
Google handles this information under its own privacy policy. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Recipe requests
“Request a Recipe” saves your request on your device and opens your email app with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send that email. If you do, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply and to consider adding the recipe. We delete them on request.
Children
The app is a cooking tool for adults and families; its Kids Corner helps parents plan children’s meals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Ads are not shown in Kids Corner and are not aimed at children.
Deleting your data
- In the app, open Settings and tap Start fresh to delete all saved settings, bookmarks and plans, including the iPhone Keychain copy.
- Deleting the app removes its data from Android devices. On iPhone, use Start fresh before deleting the app if you also want the Keychain copy removed.
- To remove an Android backup, manage backups in your Google account settings.
- To limit ad personalisation, use Privacy & ad choices in the app’s Settings (where shown), turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” on iPhone, or reset or delete your advertising ID on Android.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
